Region IX Leads NBA Disaster Relief Task Force for LA Wildfires
Region IX co-led the NBA Disaster Relief Task Force and hosted more than one dozen virtual and in-person programs to help the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Task Force was co-chaired by Region IX Director Terrance J. Evans and Member At Large Shumika Sookdeo.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Region IX co-hosted its fifth pro bono legal clinic since January 2025 to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. The February 19 program included some of the most brilliant legal minds in the State of California on disaster relief.
