Director Evans Named CABL Loren D. Miller Attorney of the Year

Region IX Director Terrance J. Evans was named the 2025 Loren D. Miller Attorney of the Year by the California Association of Black Lawyers (CABL) at their 48th Annual Gala in Oceanside, California.

The acceptance speech featured an introduction by civil rights attorney Justin Ward. Director Evans extended special thanks to Justin Ward for the introduction and to Immediate Past CABL President Josi Swonetz for her leadership. Thanks also to CABL Past President and NBA Member At Large Shumika Sookdeo and CHBA President Vincent L. Brown for recording the speech.

Also recognized at the gala: CABL Hall of Fame Inductees Hon. Daniel Weber and Past CABL President Lei-Chala I. Wilson; David L. Cunningham Community Service Award winners NAACP North San Diego County and Cisco Systems; Hon. Carol D. Codrington, Bernard S. Jefferson Judge of the Year Award; and NBA Past President Randy K. Jones, Hon. Benjamin Travis Lifetime Achievement Award.
