Region IX members gather across the western region for the NBA's national Listening Tour.

Region IX hosted five official events for the NBA Listening Tour: in San Francisco, Los Angeles, two events in Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Region IX also hosted an unofficial recruitment event for the NBA in San Diego.

Region IX affiliates that co-hosted the events included:

  • Phoenix: Two events, one co-hosted with the Arizona Black Bar Association.
  • Los Angeles: Co-hosted with the John M. Langston Bar Association, Black Women Lawyers of Los Angeles, Richard T. Fields Bar Association, and the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association.
  • San Francisco: Co-hosted with the Charles Houston Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers of Northern California, and the CLA Racial Justice Committee.
